_     What does "keeping it local" mean to you? To me it means supporting your neighbor.  Helping your neighbor. When you purchase products from a big box store, where does the money go? It goes up the ladder to the guys on top, not the hard working associates on the bottom. When you purchase from a locally owned and operated establishment your money goes to putting food on their table, paying for little Bobby's soccer practice, and back into another small locally owned businesses.

       Let's be honest, purchasing items from a small business may cost you more, but what you get in the long run is well worth the price. Smaller establishments can give you that individual attention you deserve. To them you are more than a number. Many times they will remember your name, what your preferences are, and often can obtain items that the big box stores can't or won't.
Isn't that worth a little more? I think so!!
